Operation Keep Warm a Success

This year, Haven collected coats, gloves, scarves, socks and hats for the low income families in Frisco. The collection started with general clothing items, but it was not long before the teachers in the Frisco Independent School District (FISD) were requesting specific sizes for chosen students. Some teachers even had parents and siblings who needed warm clothing.

Haven partnered with The Cottages at Chapel Creek Assisted Living Community and Saddlebrook Assisted Living & Memory Care. All of the clothing was delivered to the Frisco Independent School District. Special thanks goes to Mary Poole and Pam Bell at The Cottages at Chapel Creek for collecting clothing items in their community; Tipton Crews at Saddlebrook for collecting clothing items in his community; and to all of the citizens of Frisco who donated to this cause.

Operation Keep Warm was very helpful to the students in the Frisco Independent School District. This was Haven’s first year collecting for Operation Keep Warm. Haven is making a difference in our community!
